Low Cost Brow Lift – Before-After Photos

Brow Lift or forehead lift is for patients who have creases across the forehead or high on the bridge of the nose. It can also be performed for eyebrows too low or too straight on the face; these features may give an old, tired, sad, or angry look to the face. The Brow Lift improves frown lines and repositions a low or sagging brow.

Brow Lift in Colombia - Your New Look

The goal of a brow lift procedure is to smooth the forehead and elevate brows back to their proper position. The newly acquired arch of the eyebrows on your smooth forehead will give you a very pleasant look.

Benefits of Brow Lift Surgery

  • It removes wrinkles on the forehead that appear due to aging or repeated muscular contraction.
  • It refreshes the look.
  • It raises the eyebrows.
  • The arch of the eyebrows may be modified in order to, for example, give them a more youthful and feminine look.
  • Brow suspension surgery has a preventive effect if performed while the patient is still young. It consists in introducing special threads beneath the skin that will produce fibrosis in the sub dermal tissues. The threads and the fibrosis make up a structure that sustains the tissues of the area and delays the appearance of flaccidity.
  • Performed together with eye lift surgery (blepharoplasty), neck lift surgery and face lift surgery (rhytidectomy), it completely rejuvenates the face and neck.

Types of brow lift surgery

Endoscopic brow lift: is done with small incisions in the scalp, a small camera is use to perform the surgery. The ideal candidate for this procedure has a hairline which is not receded and normal forehead height. Patients that have a receded hairline and/or a very long or curved forehead are not candidates for this type of procedure.

Hairline brow lift: is a performed through an incision located at the hairline. Ideal for patients that have a high hairline or those that have very long forehead; the incision is beveled (cut at an angle) so that the hair grows through it and thus hides the scar.

Coronal brow lift: is performed through an incision inside the hair. Ideal for patients that have a very low hairline, this is done in order to elevate the hairline to a more appropriate level during the brow lift surgery.

Anesthesia

Brow lift operation can be performed with either IV sedation or with general anesthesia depending on whether or not other procedures are combined with the brow lift.

Recovery

The night of the surgery should be spent relaxed. Activity should be kept to a minimum. A liquid diet is best for the first eighteen hours after surgery. The head should be kept elevated using pillows to help reduce swelling. Placing small zip lock bags with frozen peas on the eyes 20 minutes on 40 minutes off for the first 2 days can help reduce the inflammation. Always use a clean towel between the Zip lock bag and your eyes.
